Brief Introduction:
During World War II, British pilots not only proved decisive in the defence of the homeland, but through international cooperation and strategic bombing and technological innovation, also made an indelible contribution to final victory; their courage and achievements have become a luminous chapter in world military history. DID proudly presents you the 1/6 WWII British Pilot Squadron Leader – Tom comes with an exceptionally lifelike headsculpt: furrowed brow, resolute expression, and a calm, restrained demeanour perfectly captured. Tom has a visor cap and a genuine leather flying helmet to change. Beneath the uniform and trousers, he wears a warm off-white sweater, topped by the classic dark-brown flying jacket with its fur collar, and on his feet are flying boots made of genuine leather. A life vest completes the authentic RAF aviator look. For weaponry, Tom carries a full-metal Webley Mk VI revolver with six metal bullets, which is renowned for its rugged durability and accuracy in combat, the revolver’s break-top action ejects spent casings for fast reloading. He is also equipped with a plastic flare pistol and three flares, along with a metal cartridge box. The flare pistol was essential for battlefield signalling, unit command, maritime rescue and emergency warnings, and the pairing of these weapons hastened victory.
