Description:
Joachim Murat (1767-1815). One of Napoleon’s most flamboyant Marshals
and the future King of Naples. Renowned both for his fiery temper and as
a great cavalry leader he was also brother-in-law to the Emperor. He
was executed by firing squad in 1815.
